What KSTVET Offers
The Kenya School of TVET (KSTVET), formerly known as Kenya Technical Trainers College (KTTC), is a public government institution under the State Department of Science and Technology. KSTVET does not offer general diploma or degree programmes for school leavers. Its programmes are specifically designed for people who already hold a certificate or diploma in a technical field and want to become qualified TVET instructors or trainers. If you are looking for programmes for direct school leavers, KMTC or a national polytechnic may be a better fit.
KSTVET Fee Structure 2026

HEF Funding and Bursary Options
KSTVET students can access government education funding through the Higher Education Fund (HEF), which has largely replaced HELB for students in public TVET institutions. Apply for HEF funding through the portal below before or alongside your KSTVET application.
KSTVET also offers its own bursary and scholarship scheme for needy students. Applications are submitted through the KSTVET bursary page once you are admitted.
