Uasin Gishu County has 2 KMTC campuses: Eldoret Campus, a large, long-established campus in Eldoret town, and Burnt Forest Campus, a much newer campus about 30km southeast of Eldoret along the Eldoret-Nakuru highway. One of KMTC’s larger campuses, with a student population reported at over 1,000. It began in 1977 as a School of Nursing, and merged with a separate Hospital Maintenance School in 1996 to become the KMTC Eldoret Campus you’d apply to today. Its location next to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital gives students direct access to a major referral facility for clinical placement.

Its first cohort of 29 students enrolled in Certificate in Orthopaedic Trauma Medicine and Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology. KMTC Burnt Forest & KMTC Eldoret fee structure

KMTC sets fees centrally, per student category — not per campus. Whether you’re placed at Eldoret or Burnt Forest, if you’re a Regular Kenyan student you’ll pay KES 82,200 in Year 1 and KES 78,000 a year in Years 2 and 3, the same as students at any other KMTC campus nationwide. In-Service, East Africa and Foreign students follow the same national rate cards too.
